2012 Rockford Midwestern Biennial
The Rockford Midwestern is a biennial juried exhibition that originated as an annual showcase for local artists. The year 2012 marks the 72nd presentation of this regional show that draws the best works from artists from a nine-state region. Artists residing in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, and Wisconsin participate. With this exhibition, Rockford Art Museum shows its commitment to presenting the breadth and depth of contemporary art in the Midwest.

43rd Annual St. Anthony Park Arts Festival
Now in its 43rd year, the Saint Anthony Park Arts Festival is a popular annual event held near the Saint Paul campus of the University of Minnesota and the Como neighborhood of Minneapolis. Artists, musicians, art lovers, families and a supportive community come together on the first Saturday in June to celebrate art. Our festival features about 100 artists; benefits the historic St. Anthony Park Branch of the St. Paul Library; engages kids with activities such as the art booth, throwing their own pot, pony rides and a petting zoo; has a used book sale, a plant sale, good food and great music; supports summer reading and activity programs, keeping thousands of children engaged in reading throughout the summer.

Stone Arch Bridge Festival
The 2012 Stone Arch Bridge Festival, under a slightly different name, continues the 17 year tradition established by Ira Heilicher. Held on June 16 & 17, 10:00am - 7:00pm along the stunning Mississippi River in Minneapolis. In its 18th year, this free, two-day art festival held on Father’s Day weekend has brought nearly a million people to the Minneapolis downtown Riverfront District. The festival features more than 250 visual artists, many live music performances, and family entertainment.

This small town fine art fair takes place at Memorial Park on the shores of Shell Lake, WI. The high quality of work at this show draws patrons from all over the midwest. I was fortunate to be named Best in Show in 2010 and am very excited to return to the show in 2012!

Stockholm Art Fair
Over one hundred artists will fill the lovely Stockholm Village Park overlooking Lake Pepin, on the Mississippi River. This year on Saturday, July 16th the charming little village burgeons into the best art fair venue around. Always held the third Saturday in July, you can be sure that you will find exceptional art including paintings, jewelry, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, leather, photography and more. Food vendors entice you with such offerings as chicken croissant sandwiches with rhubarb chutney, grilled portabella mushroom sandwiches and many local specialties. Talented local musicians such as Patchouli and Yata perform onstage throughout the day.

50th Annual Bayfield Festival of Arts
The Chequamegon Bay is a special place for artists. Some choose to live here surrounded by the peace and beauty of the Northwoods, others visit seeking inspiration from the natural wonders of the Apostle Islands sea caves and Lake Superior. This weekend, the community will celebrate this unique connection to the arts during the 50th annual Bayfield Festival of Arts weekend. 21st Annual Powderhorn Art Fair
The Powderhorn Art Fair, one of the finest juried regional art fairs in the country, celebrates artistic expression and community engagement. Set in a pastoral, 66-acre city park, the Powderhorn Art Fair features 184 regional and national artists of varied disciplines, as well as a Community Showcase and Group Exhibitors from the Powderhorn area. The Powderhorn Art Fair is a collaboration between the Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association and the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board.
